I stand corrected. The documents, and the people, that I have talked to that use the V-AFC in particular stated that it sets a specific amount of fuel for reach RPM, no matter what the pressure is, it will use that set amount of fuel. Which of course, you can see, would amount to bad mileage.

I really suck at acronyms, VAFC - stands for what exactly. Volatage air fuel control???

What your saying makes sense, but is this a piggyback system or a pic chip that I am programming? Do you have a preference to company if this is a piggyback? I'll read some past posts but hi me back with some nfo please.

just for the record you want me to install an A/F guage and document the fuel inrichment points from stock and try and copy them? The cpu doesn' alter fuel delivery in different gears does it? (prolly a dumb question but I want to know)

I don't know, I'm telling you, I do everything ghetto b/c I don't really care... You just play around and see what works. Set them at 38%, if it runs like ----, change it. If it's smoking (how do i know this?) thick black smoke, too rich. If the A/F gauge lights up RED when you mash it, too lean. It's really simple. If you don't have an A/F gauge it'll be a bit harder, but I know that w/ dsm 450's (and a walbro 255, what i have) -38% is a decent basemap setting and it will work. You could always take it to a dyno, but I wouldn't waste your time until the turbo is installed...
