Worst forum ever!
Since I bought this gay probe, I have been forced to look for information on probetalk.com
This forum is by far, the worst forum on the internet for information! it's a bunch of 2nd gen probe owners that think their v6's are a gift from god.
No info on the only decent probes(1g gts).

Yea that sucks. I feel your pain. Try looking at the my.is website (lexus is300) forum and you will see more of the same)
For example:
Person A (who is new to the forum, but demonstrates a decent amout of knowledge) askes some technical info on fabbing their own kit or what not.
Person B with a high post count will usually say: "Bahhh, don't even bother trying to learn something and doing it yourself and saving real money, bend over and call one of the turbo kit makers the gets blown by everyone of the ricers on this board"

move over to mx6.com for a start. some of the same dudes are there, but more clued up in general.
also, the mx6 1g gt has a decent cooler stock. i doubt you'd lose power, and i reckon the "big pipes/cooler causes lag by the load" is mostly crap anyway, but it might be slightly unnoticeably slower to build boost.
in reality the turbo on those things is a pea shooter, they need bigger turbos seriously.
any stock 2l unit is good for that truck 2.2
subby vf series, dsm tdo5s, etc.
the stock cooler is enough for those bigger turbos.
