Default woo i can finaly post! and i have questions!

hello everyone welcome to my first post!

i dont know how many of you long time members know this, but for mysterious unknown reasons the site has been closed to all new users, which was VERY annoying when you have a bunch of questions. anyway i can post now and thanks for the help you have all given me already without even knowing it!

i have a 92 honda accord. i know most of you have civics/crx. i dont see many accords especially not 4th gens.

i do not have turbo installed yet but i do have many parts:

14b turbo
stock DSM manifold
1g BOV
1g oil lines
starion FMIC
cartech adjustable FMU

my first question is to clairify the stock DSM manifold bolting up to the F22a myth. iv heard yes and no on this but i want to make sure it fits. i know you have to redrill holes.

next is my manifold problem. whith the stock DSM manifold my exhaust/wastegate port exits directly into my motor mount, there is literaly no room for the downpipe. so iv been told i can remove my fron mount and reinforce the others. how would i go about this? if this is not possible, could i get a custom manifold from a drag kit or something?

i want to boost 7 PSI on stock internals. would an FMU be suitable for this? if not i will be happy with 5. would i need new injectors for this? i think mine are 240cc or something like that.

i have plenty more questions but ill ask more later. thanks for the help guys!

If I was you I'd just go have a custom manifold made. I dont really know the answer to your question. But it just seems much easier.

first off....welcome aboard

i cant tell you if the manifold will fit or not... but im with blind, i would just go custom from the get-go. That way, you wont have to take out your mount and you get more control over your setup.

The fmu will work with stock injectors, and it will work if you push 8 pounds, however it is not a very reliable setup. But i cant really say much, since im using it too, haha. Make sure to get a fuel pump too. The only reason im running the fmu is because im a broke *** kid, as soon as i get the money im gonna upgrade.

Good luck....

You dont need alot of money to get better fuel management. For about $200 bucks you can get some DSM 450cc injectors and an SMC to controll the fuel output of the bigger injectors.Even some 390cc injectors out of an automatic turbo Eclipse will work(I got some for $30 on Ebay).

Go here for the SMChttp://userwww.sfsu.edu/~ecg/index.htm.Go to products, you want the "super map controller".

I have personally never used it but if my Fields doesnt wrok thats what Im going to get.Ive never used one but there are a few other members on this forum that using them.
