Default Wierd Idle problem

F22a engine...when I start it up it goes to about 2000 rpm then drops right away to idle speed then back up sounding like it wants to stay till it warms but when it does warm up it idles ok except for up and down idling (100 rpms up and down from 1000)

Ive checked vaccum, idle screw, and coolant for air.. no go. I did take apart some air valve and it seems to still work correctly. Haynes isnt helpin me here...

any clues

purge control solenoid....
what ecu are you running? i have a po6 on my f22 and it wouldnt run for ---- until it was warm....u need to run a ground on a switch to the connector, just cut the ground from the ecu and splice in...the p06 will not send a ground signal at the right time to the solenoid so basically its a open vac leak....so run a ground there and it will close...then after it is warm open the switch..hope this helps
