Default Wicked ATV

Just got to scope out a really tricked out ATV. With a Supercharger. On one of the ATV forums.

Whats really intresting is the Blower has an inbuilt Oil Pump and inbuilt gearing. Really trick. Just wondering if other superchargers come with features like this.

This is the info from the builder
"
First off it's a blower from a company in Europe. It's a pretty amazing little tiny unit in that it does have an internal gear ratio of 12.7:1...but there's no gears! Instead it uses a planetary system of 3 rollers (planets) with the impeller shaft suspended in the middle. The impeller shaft therefore has no bearing on it and this allows it to safely spin to over 200,000 rpm! And NO that's not a mis print! There is no electric oil pump cause the pump is internal in the blower however there is a reservoir needed to house oil for circulation.
I have been on the dyno and have had a time dialing in the fuel delivery and solve some detonation problems. This is a BONE STOCK 66mm bore X 72 mm stroke TRX cylinder which put out about 30 hp with a FMF fatty pipe.On gas and about 10 psi boost it hit 60 hp and 40 ft lbs torque. I had a new lower compression dome cut and I’m going to run methanol to aid in the detonation and intercooling effect. "
Futher details can be found on www.macdizzy.com
Im off hunting for a supercharger like that. Do the Vortex super chargers work on the same lines ?

Listen up guys.
Youve learnt something or at least I think I have.
1. You dont need a Pressure oil line feed to turbo or super charge. There are kits out there. That come with in-built oil pumps.

2. You dont need to wory about gearing for a super charger there is stuff out there with with in-built gearinging. (Actually no gears but a system of Planetry gears that can sping up to 200.000 RPM)

I would personally have given my left ******** to have had this info last month. Before I went out and bought a turbo I now can use for a papper weight.

Im a respected two stroke tuner and a moderator on that forum. So I just cant go arround stealing crap and pics off other forums.
I have done the proper thing which is mail the guy and owner asking for permision. Lets give them a day or two to respond.

OHG what is your problem? Your not violating any laws by posting pictures of it. Don't be such as -----.

All Superchargers are self lubricating. This does not make them good. Superchargers are gay and do not make as much power as a turbo becuase of the parasitic drag caused by trying to turn the gears. You line up a Supercharged ATV vs. a turbo ATV and you'll get your *** kicked every time.

---- it, I don't even want to see a piece of ---- ATV with a supercharger anyway
