My boy had the same problem with his MSP. He took it back to the dealer and they said they wouldn't fix it because he probably put a manual boost controller in it and destroyed the turbo and wanted a free fix. Problem was none of the lines were touched going to the turbo...he fought with them for 3 weeks to get it fixed. Supposedly they did, but it never did quite feel the same after that. 2 weeks later he crashed it into a telephone pole doing 75. Afterwards all he could say was thank god I got rid of that piece of ----. :P

MSP's are the ---- if you know what you're doing. Torquey little bastards. Besides who keeps a stock turbo on their car. It's you fault for not getting a t04e on there soon enough. Your first mistake is not getting the regional Mazdaspeed rep involved. Mazda has great customer service, if you bitch enough you won't have to paya dime. it should be still warrentied. Unless you modded the fawk out of the car.

The car is completely stock other than the catch can and some irdium plugs never touched the turbo or boost levels...I have 63K on it so it is out of warrenty but maybe I'll give mazda USA a call and see...there is no way a BB turbo should blow at 63K...I think i'm fixing it and then selling it...other big problems with these easts are the LSDs go and I'm not keeping it and waiting for that to happen...ugh

----, your kidding me - a mazda breaking down? Unheard of!!

Here's what I'd do: get a new snail, buy some rusty tornup EG w/good motor, HMT that rustball, then sell the mazdashit protoge. At least if the HMT setup goes to ----, you're out $500 until you spend $100 to fix it.

Why not sell that gay *** MSP... and get an srt-4 i know there are a large amount of bashers but thats because nobody likes the neon and they are by no means hot cars but they are fuggin quick for what they are. The MSP is a nice looking car but they just blow in every other way
