Why Less boost in 2nd, 3rd.. gears ?? Help
Ok, Heres my problem. Im pushing 8 lbs on stock internal wastegate on dsm t25. (1g dsm BOV) My ride is 92 Honda Civic d16z6.
The Problem:
If I go from a stop, my first gear builds 8lbs (like it should), but after I shift, sometimes 2nd only builds 6lbs, same with 3rd. But.. If I start in second or third (from a roll) it builds 8lbs fine. Am I shifting too fast, and not letting all the pressure out? or is it cause my rpm's are already higher, and its pushing the wastegate open early? Im confused

I'd try shimming the actuator or putting a helper spring on the arm. But it alot of cases this can be a result from a cracked exhaust housing. The best way to fix this would be a external gate.
