ive always liked the 2.5rs. i thought they were turboed stock but i guess not, i never looked into it. either way good job

but i need someone to school me on MAF's and why the BOV needs to be recirculated? im a little confused on that. im a honda guy, used to MAP's, lol. i mean i know that cars with MAF's use the MAF reading for the fuel map instead of a MAP, but how does this affect the BOV configuration? what happens if you run the BOV uncirculated? im a n00b to these engines .

anyway like i said, good job, id like to get a 2.5rs someday for a DD, probably turbo it or swap engines, or both

if you place a bov AFTER (in terms of air flow) the MAF sensor, it will blow off air that has already been metered by the sensor. because its already been metered the computer puts in too much fuel (it puts in fuel for the air that was vented when the TB was closed.) this will make the car run very rich and cause it to stumble.

however if you put the BOV before the sensor like on the I/C this doesnt matter because the air hanst been metered yet.

likewise if you vent the bov air back into the intake the air goes back into the system and then you get all your air back for that extra fuel.
