Why its nice to be my neighbor(2.5 RS turbo install PICS!!)
Well My neighbor is a cool guy and has a Subaru 2.5RS. So we decided to turbo it. Here is the pics. The first day we made the up pipe and down pipe. Wes (my neighbor installed the injectors and the S-AFC)
Before.
Removed cat to cut up.
Up pipe
Down Pipe. My internal wastegate madness. Had to cut the factory one to make room.
Day 2 is where we got going. Hotrex came over bright and early to get it moving!
Josh going to town on the O2 bungs.
Up pipe and down pipe needed clearancing :P
See not much room!
Josh made this custom intake to clear the FPR and accept the Recirculated BOV(its MAF)
Oil retun was a -----. Josh did it nicely around the front.
Finishing up
DONE!
Wes's wideband didnt work right so we richened it up and he took it out at 3 psi. It worked as it should. Just need to tune it. He was really happy and it was a good time overall. He will be running around 6 psi after we get his WB working.
Once again HMT North East owns you!

another install ubder our belt dave, whats that like 15 now??
very pleased with the way it came out.. very clean. if u saw it youd swear it was factory.
now we have to get our hogs on the road.

Lemme know how it goes...my g/f has a '02 impreza rs that she wanted turbo'd at one point, do you think it'd be much different to do? Also, what kind of injectors did you use and what size are they? She'd ---- herself if she came home one day and her car was boosted...score some browny points ya know

Turbo is an IHI RHB52 Turbo Coupe I believe
Injectors, and intercooler are from a WRX
BOV is Bosch
BOV flange is custom CSaddict
Downpipe is custom CSaddict
Up pipe is custom CSaddict
Intake with recirc tube custom Hotrex gangster edition
Oil feed line was from www.lsdmotorsports.com
