I bought this turbo from bseriescivic5 on honda-tech and i was never told it came with no ------- wastegate.......in all the pics it was never showed using a external......should i really look into buying a internal gate with flapper or go external?

 

internal if your not going to be boosting much, id use external if your going over 10 or so

 

the picture tells u it doesnt come with an internal gate :1

but since you already have the turbo just go with an external

just get a flange that covers up the wastegate hole so you don't have to weld the flapper on.

Also how much boost are you going to run?

 

what kindaturbos is taht racintweek might have what u need

 

if you have a mani with an external WG flange then buy one if not just buy the internal WG/flapper

I was going to try 15 psi cause i have vitaras and eagle rods.... but i jsut bought a ------- hf mani that im going to have to sell now

 

i have a t3 42/48 that came w/ external actuator and bolt on housing w/ the flapper. i have external setup so i don't use it. i can sell it to you so you don't have to get rid of your hf.

why not just put an external on the hf. homemade dude
