A big boost spike in first gear wouldn't matter at all because the gear is over in like one second. Besides if you have to be worried about a few psi then you have a shitty setup.

good thing it takes less than a second to break something. boost spikes in 1st is not ok lol

i built full boost in tire fryin first gear

considering i have all three versions (1.66, 1.78, and 1. and i've never seen anything about specific fuel settings or boost settings in each gear. how long would it take to tune it if it was like that?

i'm helping this guy by making sure he doesn't listen to what you're telling him to do :P

hey thanks for all this help that you guys are givin again i have a 4spd manual tranny dohc zc with t-25 turbo and turbo edit. so i dont think my setup is shitty it's just that i have a 4-speed so all the boost counts(i have an si trannythat i want to swap but im unable to) and now that ive been drive'n the car more.... sometimes it boost in first, but most the time it wont (bout a 6:1 ratio) so that is why im somewhat concerned. thanks again

I dont make boost in first...I might make 1-2psi...no biggie...I have 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th

mine don`t see boost in 1st and it wouldn`t hit full boost in second.
thats cuz ur turbo is the size of my head... u dont get full boost til like 3rd or forth huh?

i have never heard of that problem before...i hit a easi 15+ psi on first gear, without hitting redline, or revlimiter.

thats cuz ur turbo is the size of my head... u dont get full boost til like 3rd or forth huh?
well i never run to full boost(except a few times but i can hit full boost in 2nd,3rd,and 4th)
