OR, you can not be a fucktard of an assbag, and turn off your A/C when you know you're gonna boost.

I can understand the detonation when boosting vtec when running your a/c. That's a pretty big strain. I would definately say turn your a/c off when racing. If you want a reliable car with turbo & a/c, go buy a lower miles factory turbo car.

I've lived in FL for 20 years and none of my cars had a/c, I really didn't care that much. I do agree that it helps the resale value very much when selling.

So does anyone's SSAutoCrap manifold retain the a/c??? I was seriously thinking of picking one up :P

Oh yeah, you people might want to look into compressor relocating brackets, if you must have a/c and that custom manifold.

turbo'd with a/c was 2 hrs. ago built up headpressure because of my pressure switch going bad, blew the pressure relief valve racing last night, forgot to turn it off during the races,,,, opps..... it really wasnt worth it in the first place you could need it in the hotter states of the U.S.A. like Texas and Arizonia.. not much else

if you had purchased a fmic on the group buy or had gotten one later, i recommend not using a/c not mush air flow coming through the condenser to cool the refridgerant....

race to drag or a/c for lag....

OK I'm a whoos(sp) then. Both of my cars have AC. I only use the AC when tooling around town. On the Honda I stay below VTEC engagement when chilling. Since I don't race from a dead stop it isn't an issue for my E-Manage's fuel map to compensate for the ECU's mapping w/AC on. B4 conceding to custom manifold piping I was looking at the manifolds on ebay. But I couldn't find any that would allow for the fan for the AC condensor. There R some auctions which show a full setup w/a double wide radiator that would let U believe that it would work with AC. But if U look closer, U'll realize that there is no fan on the half of the radiator that would be the equivalent of the AC condensor. IMO it's nearly impossible to preserve the AC in the smaller Honda engine bays w/o going custom manifold.
