What are u basing this statement on?? If he was running outta effiency of the turbo in 4th (which isnt the case) it would be that the turbo is too small. This T3 60/63/60 trim is a great turbo for a SOHC or a nice streetable DOHC. I have talked to people who have done both.

It seems a lot of people here "claim" this turbo is "too big" for a SOHC.. has anyone here actually tried it, and then formed a statement, not just "thinking" that "maybe" its too big, then everyone jumping on the bandwagon.

Skittle has tried it, and it works. Not only does it work, but its "amazing" Perhaps this whole BS of this turbo being too big thing will finally die.

yeah, this turbo is deinfately not too big.

It starts to create boost at 3000 RPM and it hauls ass after that.

I was going too fast on a public road to even try to make it through 4th.

Once I got on the freeway in 4th gear, 110mph came up pretty damn quickly lol.

The .63 starts boost ~3000? I have the .48 exhaust housing. Anyone know when it starts and around where does it reach 8 psi? It's going on a bone stock z6.
