well no ---- they are gonna leak, how a brake line seals is through flares, and you have to have the correct fitting on both sides.

You see how both ends work? ones flared, and the other end matchs.

How to flare tubing...

So basically take whatever size brake line fitting you are going to use to the hardware store/automotive, napa should have them, and tell them what you are going to do. One side with be 1/8th and the other side will be 3/16 brake.

You just need a flare to NPT adapter

Check this out. All copper oil feed and vacume lines.

With all those fittings, something is bound to go bad.

Eh, I say if you have to cop out B/C you can't afford real SS lines. Just get some higher than normal temp fuel/oil hose & don't let it touch a manifold, or the housings. At worst, wrap some insulation on it.

Always worked for me A-OK. Then you can use cheap barbs from any nut & bolt, plumbing, or auto store & get on ebay & buy you some cheap T-bar clamps to hold em on with.

I used brake lines for my oil feeds and coolant lines before. I just went to NAPA and got all the parts and fittings. Its a cheap and good way to do lines, just make sure you buy a good brake line bender.
