i just welded a 1" od pipe to my charge pipe. got a little piece of 1" id reenforced hose, put it over it, then put the bov in that and put a clamp on each end. kinda hard to see in the pics, but here:

you guys are giving me a headache. Just use a 1g dsm bov and call it a day, simple solution for a simple thread
