Hey just wondering who all threw a rod? or sent a piston? spun a baring? just wondering cause maybe i can learn from others mistakes. Im getting ready to start my car up and drive it as soon as i get the resistor in and the exhaust done. I heard of people blowing ---- up the first time they drive it. What happned with some people on here? what went wrong?

 

Too much boost, wussy *** pistons, shitty *** fuel management.

+1 for that, my pistons did the same thing, and suon a bearing, a another motor i fried the rings, but hey its a D series i can pick them up a dime a dozen, H22 is a different story, make sure you have oil in there constantly. -Ben

 

me too on a good motor 10+psi #3rod broke i searched for it on the road and cant find it

 

Be careful, dont want yo ---- something up right after u get boosted like some other people we know, we wont drop any names

i think just about every major player on this site has blown at least one engine

 

Just dont get cocky with boost and make sure your tuned for whatever boost level your running and you will be fine.. The reasons I always blew mine (rod/sleeve) whatever, is because I just get cocky with boost, and am greedy
