And compared to the previous Sinktrap, do you have a stronger pull up top now? DIfferences?

Myself I'd use the stock headers, unless they cut flow too much--they're sooo sturdy, not to mention cheap (free).

The T3 inlet manifold was from LSD Motorsports and the 2 hole was lying around from something else. Had to make new bolt holes to match the D-series.

Also, when HT bashes it, you could technically say that the thin wall ebay tubing is thermally better than your standard Fullrace sch20 or 40 piping.

Primo HMT action right there.
Thanks! The elephant is schedule 10. The egay header is around 16 gauge.

The elephant performs better all around, and the top end is great. The egay header has big ports which may have helped also. At the same time I also changed back to a Z6 intake manifold.

the longer the runners like this creates more turbo lag.....but also gives u some top end. great design though i might try this for my turbo set up on the civic

Yes the increased runner volume will have more lag, but lag is not the same as boost threshold. Lag is time between when you slam your foot down and the time full boost comes on only when above the boost threshold.

The elephant manifold is a very good design. It has nearly equal length runners and the exhaust pulses are paired properly.

Just wait for our next project.

300+ WHP D, HMT all the way.
