Where should i run my wastegate dump pipe?
Topic pretty much says it all. I'm thinkig about running a pipe straight down from the wastegate into the top of the downpipe. Would that cause any problems/ unwanted side affects that i should know about?

You'll loose horesepower if you pipe the dump tube into the exhaust. I'd keep it vented to the atmosphere and run it out to the fender.
is this for certain? or just in your opinion, cuz i dont see why it should loose hp, its not restricting any air flow.

Its not my opinion it is certain by experience. unless you have 3 inch or bigger exhaust it won't be that dramatic. And if you have a cat too than its a definite power loss. Even the one company (I think f-Max) had their kit dynoed with an atmospheric and without and it was like a 30hp difference.

That sounds theoretically correct since you would have less exhaust gas volume allowing the gasses passing through the exhaust to exit quicker thus spooling quicker(---- does that make sense?).
