Where to mount fuel cell?

Where to mount fuel cell?
The car is an 87 CRX and will be used for drag racing. Where is the best place to mount the fuel cell? I want it as far forward as possible to help hold the front wheels down.
Other than inside the engine bay, where else could I mount it? Any particular size do you guys recomend?
Thanks.

Re:Where to mount fuel cell?
I was questionable on that because I am not sure of the IDRC and NHRA rules concerning fuel cells. I know if it is in the trunk you have to make a fire wall to separate it from the interior cabin.
If I am wrong let me know.

Re:Where to mount fuel cell?
how big are you talking? cause a one or two gallon cell isn't going to make too much difference as far as weight. i believe beau had his under the hood, but most that i've seen have been in the trunk or passenger floorboard, those are really your only options.

Re:Where to mount fuel cell?
Beau, does your cell come with a fuel sending unit? And no that would not work in a first gen because the windshield wiper motor and brake line distribution block is located there. Then right below all of that is the nasty Charcoal canister.

Re:Where to mount fuel cell?
The car will still be street raced so I have to know how much fuel I got.
I know you guys may think I am insane but down south we have trailored cars with parachutes on the back at our street races. Yeah, the track is wonderful but people get intimidated too easily and never want to race for money.
