Although I'm not a gauge expert, I've had one elec. gauge start acting goofy and numerous others have said the same thing happened to them. My next one will be mechanical, but it's definatly getting the stainless treatment.

ok well, like the thread says, what do i need. Oil pressure gauges only function and read correctly if the same amount of oil goes to it. I will try stainless like my oil feed line

i will try brass line and i will try some nylon again. I will put it through a rubber vaccum line that way if she pops off, it will be sealed in there and not all over the place

Stainless steel oil pressure line? If you want to try something that actualy exist and doesnt burst try copper my nigg. You can get it at napa,carquest, and ebaymotors.com The largest size roll you probably will be able to find is 6 feet.

i just grabbed some nylon, the autometer 12' kit. If i bend it i have about 3 sets of those connectors so i will just patch it up..
