There is a pipe you can get from the DSMs called the "J-Pipe", It will directly bolt on without you having to make one.

I have one if you need it. I either have the stock one which is good if you're just running a sidemount intercooler or a stainless one from Dejon Tool that is made for a front mount intercooler. It sets the outlet down farther where you can easily attach the licp from a front mount. Both are in excellent condition. The OEM one is supposed to be black, but the paint was chipping so it's media blasted now. It's aluminum so it won't rust. The Dejon one is stainless and TIG welded. It's a bit thicker too so will flow better. $20 for the stocker or $50 for the stainless. That's shipped.

you can also buy the flange from a few places and make your own jpipe. that is what i did.
in the crx the stock jpipe is not at a good angle which is why i made my own. it looks like ***, but doesn't leak and hasn't broke yet. so i guess i'm good.
oh and no one sees under this hood so don't talk ---- about my welds bitches. yeah i could have cleaned them up a little (a lot) and yeah i could have fixed the pinhole leak with some weld, but instead i used some weld putty crap. kiss my *** *******, it's hmt.
oh and that putty weld has held up really good. i should have just used it to do all the welding

Yeah no problem. Here are some pictures. You could make either one work with the proper couplers, but the Dejon one would work better for a fmic. Apparently I'm mistaken too; the stock one is steel. Like that ------- matters anyway; goddamn nit pickers. The turbo is a 16g, but it's the same compressor housing just a slightly larger compressor inlet. In other words; it'll bolt up exactly the same and sit exactly the same.

I didn't snug the bolts down all the way, but you get the idea. One of the bolts isn't even the right pitch haha. The Dejon looks like it sits too close to the housing from that angle, but there's plenty of room to stick a coupler on there to attach your piping, so it's great. It'll take up less space too. LMK if you need more pictures or w/e.
