I'm just curious where yall get ur new injectors like RC Engineering??

I'm helping my g/f build her H23vtec on boost. She's doin 550cc's and shooting for 400hp on a .5mm (87.5mm bore) for her prelude.

you need at least 660s for 400whp, just so happens i have a set for sale !! they came outt my prelude, im upgrading to 1000cc

 

Bah! I've made 400whp on 450's before, but then again I had a ---- ton of meth added to the equation. I made a hair over 400whp on 560cc injectors too and that was with no meth. 90% IDC though which is retarded. They were actually flowing 583.3cc instead of the 560cc as they do in the EVO9. You could just keep your 660's and run meth injection and IB you'd be happier all around dood. I'm good at installing meth kits, so you should get one and let me show you the magic.

You can also get them from eGay. You just can't be a nignog and by from just anyone, research their past feedback.

In most cases, Hondas will give a max of [CC x 0.7 = whp], but you ideally want them at 85% duty cycle, meaning [CC x 0.6 = whp]. So 450's will make an ideal 270whp, but max with high fuel pressure of a bit over 300whp.

 

Usually i would do the nignog route but the g/f doesn't wanna do anything twice so she's gonna be spending her money wisely. Thanks for the help guys.

This website is what actually made so interested in DIY turbo kits, cuz honestly paying almost $3k for a turbo kit that doesn't come with everything is quite stupid.

that cc x .07 = whp i've never heard of and i'm not sure that's totally correct.
450 x .07 = 31.5, so would that equate to roughly 315 whp at 100% duty cycle??

I know the standard for injectors is about 85%, is it not so good to run a lower duty cycle, say like a 65-70%. In theory it would keep the solenoid in the injector cooler, but is that too low
