I just measured it again and its probablya little closer to 1.75 but looks like 2" would work and it sounds like thats my only option anyways. Thanks

Just to show you how close it is. This is a 2"-2.5" reducer from www.bakerprecision.com

so you're saying that the 2" side can fit either 2" pipe or 1.75" pipe?

Well, considering it's only about 1/8" off, I would say so.

You can always tighten the clamp down tighter.
