I just recently bought a Blitz BOV from Ebay and it came with a flange similar to the picture.





The problem is that if i weld this flange to my chargepipe. I can not screw the BOV to the flange because the chargepipe will be in the way and i can not screw it on. So I need to get an extension pipe so the screw doesnt touch the chargepipe. I need a pipe that is 1 inch in diameter. So it will look something like this.


So where can i find a pipe this size? Is it steel or aluminum? I'm not even sure myself.

 

You can buy 1" pipe at a 1" pipe store. - Matt

 

Why dont you screw it on first... then weld it?

 

because i might want to change the BOV later on with the newer model Blitz BOV. It use the same Flange.

 

try to look for it at JCWHITNEY.COM then type in MANDREL BENT. i'm sure they have it there

 

---- that, look in your phone book for a metal yard. they'll either charge you a dollar for a little bitch piece like that, or they'll give it to you. get some mild steel. they'll want money for aluminized or stainless. you'll be fine, no worries.

 

hardware store, lumbar yard, anything...just but a 1" steel pipe and cut a small piece off it! go by the plumbing section. youll find pleanty of 1" id and od pipes you could cut and use.

 

throw a bit of high temp paint on it if you do use the mild (to prevent rust)

 

common sense man. not a part you would buy on ebay


goto an exhaust shop and just ask for some scrap ---- they got laying around :P
