When to go to a bigger turbo.
So when do you go larger? Currently I am tuned for 26 psi, making about 380-400 whp @ 6500 rpm. Note the graph ends early because the supercharger belt jumped.
First dyno pull I popped off the wastegate hose, and boosted to 32 plus lbs of boost. Since my tires started spinning on the dyno, the dyno graph didnt work out,so no idea what power that made, but it was 405 torque @ 3800-4000 rpm. Also, the AFR was good across the board at that stage as well. I am running Torco and water/meth.
The turbo feeding the supercharger is a Garrett GT30 equivilent.
So is there any reason to go to a bigger turbo? Or just up the boost for a while? I will be running race gas when I turn the boost up to 30 psi.

I guess when compressing the air further pushes the turbo/supercharger out of the efficeincy range is when to think about upgrading. After a while you get to a point where no matter how high the boost is, you are not making anymore power due to rising compressor outlet temperatures... when all things are equal.

Lose the blower... That turbo should make more power than that. Id personally put like at LEAST a 76mm snail on it
