your an idiot running a pcv valve on a healty engine doesn't hurt ---- as long as you have a valve cover breather so it can vent anything the pcv vavle might leak.

if you are getting pressure in the crank case it could be because the PVC valve is not working correctly, or you have some kind of crankcase breather than is plumbed into your intake tract.
