It's all in the tuning. H22As can handle boost, but you need to be extra careful with the tuning. There are plenty of stock bottom end preludes running 10+ lbs of boost.

Do you know this for certain? Cause I have the h22 in my Accord and was thinking of going with Mahle, but it's 50-50. I've heard good things and I heard bad things.

properly vent your crank case. this will take some load off of the weak ringlands.
I know a guy with a t3/t4 .57 trim .53 exh a/r and spool was almost instant.
