Anybody using Royal Purple. I've seen with my own two eyes 4whp on the dyno with the stuff. I've heard of bigger numbers from my buddy's bike shop with a GSX-R 1000.

But 8.99 CAN per litre at best, I think that was a sale price, Usually is like twice that, so looking a 60-80 CAN in oil alone!!!

 

so with a turbo setup, how often do u guys change ur oil?

 

here is my dumbass question of the day....any special steps from changing to reg. motor oil to synthetic? I gotta do the change....

 

I only run Castrol GTX 5w30. Synth is just too expensive for a cheap bastard like me and everytime I've put synth into an old car (like the ones I own) it started to **** oil out of old seals etc... drama I don't need.

Right now I use valvoline 5-30 (n/a right now) My friend told me about synthetic amsoil.. They don't sell it around here.. but does anyone know how that stuff performs?

even if it is a little expensive, be thankful you don't have a ferrari enzo, and have to spend 700 per oil change or void the warranty... (i think my warranty would be voided the first time i took it to walmart cause im cheap )
