It's a T04B design, just like T67. You can cut covers to go over most anything.

I'm just saying it's kind of weird you can find the 60-1 in an E and S cover, but I've never seen it on a B cover. I know those aren't factory turbos though, so I'm not disagreeing with ya. I think it's well suited in the S cover personally.

The B cover is relatively small, and people who get the 60-1 need all the extra flow they can get. Now I've seen a t04e 57trim wheel in a .42ar T3 cover (actually, I own two sets), but that still doesn't make it a T3 wheel. When a turbo gets custom-ordered enough, it becomes the norm, and therefor cheaper. Its also a way to sell a cheaper wheel "omg it looks huuuge!".

If you really want a GT35R, you have two options IMO. One is to go to atp and get the journal-bearing GT35, its fairly similar. You could also get the HX35, then have a turbo shop make a hybrid *very* close to the GT35R's wheel sizes by putting on a 60mm 7-blade HX40 comp wheel/cover. I think thats what the HE351W is, but I can't find ---- on the non-vgt version.

I thought the HX35 was 60mm compressor inducer and the HX40 was 68mm. IDK too much about Holset's though. I just bought a pair of HX35's; one good and then one locked up, but I bought a factory rebuild kit for it and will have the machine shop prep it. That should get me somewhat familiar with them.

hx35 has either a 52 or 54mm inducer depending on year and an hx40 has a 60mm inducer.

No ----? Well I thought the HX35 was a great performance bargain, but I also thought it had a 60mm inducer. I was willing to overlook the fact that the turbine wheel was a bit big because 60mm is a decent sized compressor. Now that it's a mere 52mm; I'm not impressed at all. Now I'm wondering why all these Honda guys sackride the HX35. I mean a 20G is ~52mm and it comes with a better sized turbine wheel. I guess a big turbine is good for top end though. ----, there are used Schwitzers on Ebay for $125 that have a 55mm compressor and 55mm turbine that have the ETT. I'd just grab one of those ******* over an HX35 then. Or maybe a GM-8 off a Chevy diesel. As I see it now; the Holset is a trumped up overpriced (relatively) ricer symbol.

Pretty sure all the 35 series turbos have a 54mm inducer wheel with a 78mm exducer on the 7 blade and 83mm on the 8 blade wheels. Size isn't everthing though, the wheels shape and fin count has a lot to do with it. Holset's are far from over priced for what you get.
