what is this turbo...pic inside
A guy want to sell me this turbo 170$ and say me is a td05h 16g DSM, with a little shaft play.
But I check some pic un the web and the turbo very don't like a real DSM 16g.




-the flange is very not a DSM flange....she look to T3
-And the wastegate is in hot side..and a real 16g is in cold side
What is this trubo?

borg warner is a good make of turbos but the price is depending on the specs and condition of the turbo. those pics do not show anything worth looking at.
you need pics of the turbine and compressor wheels to see if they are damaged. also pis of the compressor and turbine housings would be nice to be able to see the a/r's of it

That is a Borg Warner GM series turbo. Like the GM-8, GM-6, etc. It comes stock on the Chevy 6.5L diesel engines IIRC. It's the same thing as an IHI RHC6 as well and the internals are the same as the IHI's. It's much larger than a 16g. That guy is a tard, and that turbo isn't very clean. They sell for $100 in excellent condition, so tell him to ---- off.
That being said, they are a pretty good budget turbo. Not the most efficient turbo around, but they have a good sized compressor (definitely T4 sized) and a reasonably sized turbine wheel (I'd say close to a T31 or T350) and a fat/short shaft that can handle pretty high boost. They are also normal T3 flanged, but their downpipe flange is a bit odd. You can find that though, or they come with a stock elbow that's v-band outlet.
I'd buy it for half what he's asking. You could definitely have fun with it.
