probly towing a 92 saab 9000 to my house later to rip all the turbo stuff out, what turbo is in these and are the injectors worth taking?

Determines what kind of 9000. Most of the older 9000/900's come with a T3 42/48 and want to say the newer 90 and up or something along those lines are like a T25. I'm probably wrong though. I've seen enough 80's saabs and even owned a 87 9000 Turbo and it's a either a Garrett on the later 80's or an air research on the early 80's models. Either way it's a good size turbo for a first kit and with it being a Garrett or an Air Research rebuilt kits and flanges are everywhere. Most turbos have alot of miles on them from what I've seen unless it the car was nailed early in life and even with that, it's been sitting for quite some time.

i guess it was replaced 10k miles ago, the car is actually fine but they said the clutch has a problem thats been repaired sevral times and always comes back, fast too like in 1k miles, not the clutch it self but the hydrolics of it i guess

in 92 is think it was a garrett GT17. BAsically, a tiny T25 style turbo notorious for it's shaft that snaps just by looking at it. THey should have kept using the T3 !!!

i went out and poped the hood, its a 48 a/r garrett, has the gay t3 inlet with the round middle

yes it's a T3 but normally the saabs have a standard t3 flange that is rectangular.

the stupid round recess is for the volvos and renaults.

I have a gt-17 my brother brought home from work (he's a Saab mechanic), the bearings are ripped apart so bad that it has about 3/4" shaft play. Its also really really tiny.
