What turbo
I have d16z6 engine. I am using K03 turbine and it is good for about 0.6bar of boost. I have an option to go with K04 or T4/T4 turbo.
Considering the engine is stock I am not shure where in the rev range will T3/T4 spool. I know that K04 will spool fast and considering it is originaly on the 1.8T VW engines i belive that it is good for about 250Hp.
on the other hand T3/T4 is big *** turbo but i am aftaid i will have to shift down to get to high revs to feel the power and I do not want that because this is a daily driver. I like to have boost under 3000rpm.
I just want to see what would other people choose. Bog turbo or smaller one.

Wait.
You can't call a turbo a "t3/t4" and guess of it'S size and lag.
There's hundreds of different t3/t4 turbos, some that are way too large and some that are just right for a D16.
Example?
A stage 3 t31/T04E 57 trim .63/.70 will lag forever on your D16 and make it feel super mushy with lots extra power you'll never use. it's a t3/t4.
A stage 1½ t3/t04B super S turbo .48/.60 will easily spool-up before 3000 RPM on your D16 while sustaining twice more power than a K03. and go figure, it's a t3/t4 too.
