what turbo is this
 

its a t3. i guess. anyone know anything else about it by lookin at it? is that some kinda odd exhaust outlet?

It looks like a turbo from a Volvo or Saab (A/R .42/.48). The internal wastegate flap should have three holes in which you would insert three studs. A flange which is usually a part of the exhaust would be bolted to it. The exhaust end that goes over the outlet is flared for a snug fit. Look at any old turbo (late 80's early 90's) Saab 900 or 9000 or a Volvo 740, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

FYI...I'm using one of those internal wastegate on my turbo right now.

Yes. That's an easy conversion to an external wastegate setup.

the question was answered. volvo or saab t3. most like a .42/.48
the cold a/r stamp should be inside the compressor outlet. the hot on the turbine housing.
does the turbine inlet have the volvo inset circle?
