i bought this turbo tonight, under the impression it was a t25 of an eclipse.

i already have a hf manifold. if this is not a dsm t25 will the hf mani work? if not what other mani's can i use that are cheap.

Any turbo will fit on a HF mani with the correct adapter plate.
I dont think that turbo is a T25 because it says Garret. DSM turbo are made my mitsubishi.

 

that's what i thought, that mitsu turbos had to have "tdo4 or 5" something stamped on them.

 

Dont worry just go to the classifieds and buy an adapter plate from BMC. That turbo looks like a T3 to me. But im not 100% sure.
Yes Mitsu turbos always have TD04 or 5 marked on them and they also have the mitsubishi symbol on top of the wastegate.

2nd gen mitsu eclipse T-25... u guys should read over this site, especially the tech section and you would know that it was a mitsu turbo and that it is made by garrett

You are right! I had forgotten.

 

just loook at that flange and it would tell you that its a t25 or t28 or possibly a 14b. and if u see the compressor side with that curve in the outlet u will know thats a eclipse turbo
