i bought this turbo tonight, under the impression it was a t25 of an eclipse.

i already have a hf manifold. if this is not a dsm t25 will the hf mani work? if not what other mani's can i use that are cheap.

Any turbo will fit on a HF mani with the correct adapter plate.
I dont think that turbo is a T25 because it says Garret. DSM turbo are made my mitsubishi.

that's what i thought, that mitsu turbos had to have "tdo4 or 5" something stamped on them.

Dont worry just go to the classifieds and buy an adapter plate from BMC. That turbo looks like a T3 to me. But im not 100% sure.
Yes Mitsu turbos always have TD04 or 5 marked on them and they also have the mitsubishi symbol on top of the wastegate.

it already has an adapter plate, and i was under the impression that a t3 was a little bit bigger from what i've seen.

2nd gen mitsu eclipse T-25... u guys should read over this site, especially the tech section and you would know that it was a mitsu turbo and that it is made by garrett

my t25 off of a 95 gst has garrett stamped on, and nothing about mitsu anywhere on it

just loook at that flange and it would tell you that its a t25 or t28 or possibly a 14b. and if u see the compressor side with that curve in the outlet u will know thats a eclipse turbo

It is not a mitsu turbo. Yes, it came off a mitsubishi, but it is indeed a garrett t25 from an eclipse. It will work.

T25 = garrett
14B = DSM

yup T25 was never a mitsu made turbo...the 14B's were.
T25 is Garrett

err, i didn't know there was a tech section until now, never paid attention to the home page. so now i'll use my "common sense" and look there if i think it's going to answer my question.
