hey man, what size end mills do you use?

I work in a production machine shop type deal, we literally change endmills every 50 parts and they are never chipped or discoloured.

I really dont know much about the coatings we have, only sizes.

We have plenty of 3/8", 10mm

---- load of inserts to. I could always throw some endmills in a box and send em your way if we have the size you use

I use a lot of 1/2" fine tooth roughers for cutting stainless steel and 1/2" rougher/finishers for mild steel.

The thing with used end mills is that they dont chip or discolor they dull out and leave nasty burs on the metal.

haha. funny ----.

the turbo I have now won't let me use a threaded flange, so I'd say 1/2" mild non threaded.

**HIJACK** The pictures you have look like professional pictures. you have the yellow light up top then you have a blue accent light on the side with the table fading off into the background. With a nice quality camera. You take those?

yes i took all of them and acually there very unprofessional but turn out very nice... the lighting from above that appears "yellow" is just my office lights in the shop, the black surface they sit on... is my computer desk... and "blue accent light" on the left.. is the computer moniter. I use a older sony cybershot camera. 3.1Megapixels but only take pictures at VGA (640x480) resolution!

who wouldve guessed?

Also i do not use HSS end mills, i use Cobalt.
