What are the nipples on the WG and clean air side of the turbo
On my WG there is a nipple on the side that i assume goes to a boost controler. But what if i dont have a boost controler what do i hook it to or do i leave it open?
Also what is the threaded hole on the top of the WG for?
Also there is a nipple on the clean air side of the turbo what does that go to?
there may be a few different places each of these could go... so maby an explination of what they do would be best. i dont have a boost controler though.

If you dont have a boost controller hook the Nipple thats on the side of the WG to the Nipple on the compressor of the turbo. That will give you your spring pressure.

Re: What are the nipples on the WG and clean air side of the turbo
You need a vacum hose connected to your wastegate eith it be from you compressor housing of your turbo or you run one from your intake mani <--Which will allow the wasgate to open when the mani is recieving the set level of boost not the compressor housing (just accounts for pressure loss over the charge pipping and IC but back on topic the port ontop of the wastegat is the one for a boost controller and the one on the side is the one you need to use...just let the top the way it is...if you aren;t using the port on the turbo compressor housing just plug it and thats that if you are going to use it you need to get a threaded nipple to put n it so you can connect a vacum hose...HTH Matt
