Excuse me? I doubt he made -----alll power compared to any ten cars I've touched in the last six months.

Awesome!

I mean awesome that you don't ------- get it, asshat. You're good with the sarcastic snipes at me twice a month, but you ------- suck at actual knowledge. Just look at your tech post history.

The vortex model of how flame propigates in the chamber may allow for closely enough spaced ignition events to benefit by firing twice... for ------- minimal gains in efficiency (not needed in a small bore engine; small bore = efficiency, emissions, no ability at making power without extreme stress on the engine which is why OEM 03-04 Slowbra engines require forgings and Manley rods to make the same part-limited power as QC-compromised stock LS1) under low charge density no power making combustion chamber scenarios.

But, we're talking about Honduh single coil faggotry where you need high ratio (aka high voltage) coil to make enough juice to fire once per cycle at the 500 whp level. Start sparking it multiple times, see how dwell (charge) time gets molested to the point where you can't hit 400 much less 500 whp.

Owl-boy's called me out a few times... we have an understanding that ---- talking's fun, and neither of us take it personally. With how much you post-----, God-boy, you've run across threads where we've stated as much.

Unless you aren't reading the threads you post your useless bullshit to.

Lol you guys crack me up. Only upgrade I could possibly see is maybe an external coil for a higher than stock rpm motor, but we're talking up in the 9k+ region. I've seen more than a few stock internal coils get pretty hot and start misfiring in that range. An upgrade in wire size (and lower resistance) is nice, but is it really going to make a difference with the stock high-impedence spark plugs? I kinda doubt it I could see running the msd boxes if you run time attacks or road courses, but let's be realistic...these are daily drivers, not race cars. We def. don't put as much stress on the stock systems in the course of a daily driven day compared to say a scca car in a 3 hour event. If any of my points are wrong, feel free to correct me (JD ahem, ahem lol)

Yeah no problem man. Spend your money on what you want. Just research before hand, like you are right now. I like the MSD ignition over stock so thats the way I would go with it. Lots of these guys are down talking ignition upgrade but makes me wonder if they have even ran an MSD or other over the stock ignition. Like I said before car ran smoother, quicker top end(felt like to me and my friends), also better throttle response. I would guess the second spark would help if you were running rich on fuel, less chance of detonation, maybe? Who knows it's hard to tell what's going on when the second spark goes off, it's not like you can peek in and see for yourself. Oh and JD so what if I haven't made 400-500whp beasts. He just wanted someone with experience with an ignition upgrade(Not saying you don't, just list pros and cons you just seem to overall hate it which is cool thats your opinion). I think he could careless if the stock ignition runs on 400whp+ beasts, is it the most efficient though? It probably isn't worth it if he spends like $300 approx. bucks like I did but for $100 bucks I don't think it's a bad upgrade especially over stock. Good luck man. If you get the ignition let us know how it went and if it was worth the money.

And yes, I have run many of the MSD boxes before. For your daily driven Honda, not much of a worthwhile power upgrade. For a built small block chevy, that's a different story. I've run these units and other brands as well on everything ranging from a track-driven scca integra, to formula fords, installed them on street rods, even a few daily driven/1/4 mile **** hondas. This is just my personal experience being passed on, that's all. Yeah, it sounds like he got a good deal, but our point pretty much was to say that his money could've been spent on something a little more worthwhile.

It's all about getting good deals. Hey now he won't have to worry about ignition when he gets his 500whp+ beast(if he ever tries for that much hp that is.).
