Over here they give out 6's for the D's...maybe because of the better fuel

stock is 5 for the NGK's and 6 is one step colder. I was a night and day difference when I installed my and retarded my dizzy. I set the gap to like 30-32 and she purs like a kitten and no problems now with it like before.

i have a b16, like dave said, the stock heat range for those is '6', so they're only one step colder for me, but they would be 2 steps colder for a d. so, on another note, you didn't really need to search, next time just tell them ngk plugs for a 00 si
