I don't see how someone could possibly think that the intercooler which was advertized is the same intercooler that I recieved?

I really hope he switches this one out for the one that I originally wanted. I really don't want to have to hack up my bumper support.

 

Take a ---- in the box send the IC back and tell him u want a smaller one thats dosent say JDM on top

 

I had that happen to me. I sold it locally and bought one from Just-intercoolers. on Ebay. I got exactly what was advertised.

 

if the tanks are 2.5" outlets id just run it, but thats just me.

When it comes to cooler and "mid to high" range power levels be aware that cast end tanks like the ones in the pics WILL heat soak.
IOW....you win som u lose some..

However...the china era cooler elements tho..are actually fairly good.(bar ones that is)

 

I agree, unless you want make more that 300hp, that intercooler should do the job just fine....and, like you said, what can you expact for 85 bucks...

 

I say suck it up and do the bumper modification. Like you said, your engine is almost stock, i say keep it. Its not like you are going to be making any outrageous power.

 

^^as far as i know tube and fin is for high hp applications since they dont get heat soaked as easily, like i said in the earlier post i would just use it, leave negative feedback for the seller and hit me up when you decide to do the install...im in hillsburrito

 

tube and fin= better cooling
bar and plate=better flow

 

yea i have the same intercooler on my focus, cant really go wrong for the price.
