need a new wastegate for the 400hp focus build and i cant decide, i want something reliable, but i also dont feel like spending a ton of money on one.

i really dont care where i get the wastegate from, the question at hand is synapse worth the money over a cdm v-band wastegate.

I would look around for somthing used.

 

a 38mm wg shouldl work unless it's a 2psi setup with a hx82 where you NEED to regulate thousands of cubic feet of air

Don't go with the synapse. That is by far the biggest piece of ---- I've ever seen. I'll buy 10000000 ching chong meow wastegates before I'd ever even consider a synapse. You'll have more problems with that then you'd have with a chinese manifold with a 100lb turbo that was getting 2000 degress. JUNK

 

just make a lower body that'll accept a sbc intake valve and done
