i think that you would get the cel no matter where the seconday one is placed, AbaZ, because i think the secondary o2 sensor is looking for different amount of o2, and that requires the cat to get just the right frequency and voltage. havent tried it, just speculating.

Ya, I know, but that far downstream the o2 can change slightly and might be enough to throw the mixture around, so they wouldnt be identicle..

but the thing is my car is Not OBD2... it's a OBD1 Ecu running on a b18b 1999 engine. There is no 2nd O2 sensor...

Then dont worry about it, put a straight pipe in, or hollow the cat out..

take it off.

Pul one end in garbage bag.

Take pipe and through other end hammer all the shizit out for like 5 min.

PUt back on car.

Sweep up the rest of the honey comb.

Dispose
