I have a 99 GSR w/ about 56,xxx miles on it and even compression across the board. I am in the process of building it for boost and want some suggestions on my set up. I posted this same thing on HT, but i figured that the more opinions the better.....

My Set Up:

T3/T04E 60Trim .63AR Garrett turbo
SPoolin Performance Log mani, 2.5" dp, and dump....AC friendly
2.5" IC piping
2.5" Uncatalyzed exhaust....no muffler, just a resonator
18x9x2 FMIC
RC Engineering 550s
Walboro 250lph HP fuel pump
Chipped P28 on Crome or CromePro....(idk yet)
SSAC Wastegate 8psi
Manual boost controller (raising it to 11psi)
Tial 50mm BOV
HP Racing Aluminum intake manifold
6pk sprung B series hydro clutch from SPoolin
odds and ends......

Any thoughts and comments are welcome.....BTW, i talked to my tuner and he said that i could make like 260-275 on less than 11psi and maybe near 300whp on 12-13psi, but he wouldn't advise it w/ the IC that i have......

Nice list of parts man. You should be able to make the 260-275 hp. TUNING IS THE KEY!

thanks!! I'm doing this for the first time and i like to hear that i'm doing it right.....do you think that IC will be too small tho??

I presumed the 18'' width of the FMIC does not include the end tanks. If I'm correct, you'll be fine with that intercooler. If the 18" is the measurement from one end tank to the other, you should get a bigger one.
