Default What can I do with this Intercooler? (cut off starion)

My friend has this in his garage because his brother was intending to do a turbo teg or something

Thinking of giving him $100 for it. But is it even useable without any welding? Can I JB weld some connectors on there?

What can I do? This will be going on a 89 Crx under a ww rs front bumper, fitment even with the top mount holes?

Thanks

Yeah I've seen a few ofthose JB welded, but aluminum welding is the right way to do it. I'd pick it up and see what you can do to get it to work.

it is usable, I cut my ends off and had it welded shut with aluminum plates, then had some pipes welded to the end so they come out the sides instead the top/bottom. I was lucky and knew somone that welds aluminum, find out if anyone local does aluminum, do the fabrication yourself I'm sure it would'nt cost that much for the welding.

Thats what I was worried about, Im not gonna pick it up if I cant use it as is. Is it possible to mount it on a crx with the pipes coming out of the side and still be centerred in the front bumper?

You should be able to get it center, just like i did on mine. Cut it and get it welded.

!?!?! You can turn, flip, spin an IC any way you want to get it to fit. As long as there is air flow you're good to go.
