What kind of turbo can I buy? Im thinking temporary solution, like T25 or something. I want a turbo that is liek a small T3 so I dont have to change the manifold later on when I upgrade the turbo. What kind of turbo can I get

I have heard that the HF manifold can be modded to fit a B16? Is this true? Is it worth it? What other cheap manifolds are my option?

I will just run a DSM side mount temporarily as my IC. I have seem teh modified to mount to the front. I may look into that.

I would like to do the Type-S BOV.

I only want it at about 6-8 psi for this setup. Would I need to get the DSM 450's and do the hack? Should I get a bigger fuel pump as well? I think my stock fuel system would be fine...wouldnt it?

I really want a turbo that will spool quickly and get me 200whp on my B16. Let me know what you guys think would be the best parts for me to get.

I would love to keep this budgeted under 1500. 1000 would be great.

let me rephrase something to clarify it. I want a small turbo that will fit on a B16 manifold, flanged for a T3/T4 turbo (ie. SC34). I will be upgrading it eventually to the SC34, but for now just want somethign cheap that will mount to the B series manifold with no probelms.

1500 will be plenty for a decent turbo kit. just get the sc34 so you dont have to change it later, get a johnny race car IC for 200, dsm 450s for 50, dsm bov for 40, oil lines, 70. manifold, shitbird makes em for under 300, turbo 600 (new), mandrels for charge piping and dp, 150, couplers 25, thats 1210. and the rest will be spend on fuel mangement, go with uberdata ifyour odb1 or Turboedit for odb0.

just budget a little extra for hardware and ---- like that. I made numerous trips to the hardware store for my turbo setup, it adds up over time.

my homemade manifold leaks like a mofucker, I'm either going to start construction on a new one or pick up one from one of our local mani makers.

i did a kit for my b16 and it came out to $2200. includding gauges, charge pipes, BOV,vafc,injectors,fmic,oil lines,.60/.63t3,labor for the charge pipe welding and down pipe fabbing.

Mine came up to be around the same prices but I bought mostly new parts and didnt really skimp out on anything. Also put in a thicker cometic headgasket along with upgrading everything that needed to upgraded. Its your call on what you want to do.
