I need to know what the bolt thread/size is for the compressor housing on my t3. its a .48/.60 t3 and when i bought it the guy lost the bolts that hold the compressor housing on and i have been unable to find replacements. i took it to the hardware store and nothing seems to fit very well what the hell are these bolts?

 

I think they are 8x1.25 but not sure. hopefully someone else will chime in

 

I tried those and it was close but it just didnt seem to thread down all the way? its almost like the threads are tapered or something? maybe just cleaning them up will help.

any 12mm honda bolt wil lwork...so what ever size that is thats what you need!

 

i wouldnt trust any regular honda bolt. that ---- needs to be Grade 8 y0!!

If you have any turbo buddies, they are bound to have some extras layin around from rebuild kits, etc.

I've got a container of turbo bolts somewhere but cant seem to find it. i'll let you know if it turns up

 

well even if he didnt trust "any honda bolt" he could take it to the local hardware store and match it to the oens there. at Homedepot they have thislittle display with threaded holes with the sizes printed ont them so you can find what ya need.
