went t the track....kinda disapointed
well went to the track in my ej1 95 coupe and fully built d16a6 with 10 psi and slipping clutch(bad slipping---poping out of gear and everything) ran a 16.00 lol dropped booost to 5psi on my 14b and ran a 14.4 not too bad...clutch comes in tomorrow its a 6puck unsprung and i was having problems with a stage 2 centerforce....at 4000rpms clutch would let go and motor would just rev....wtf ....what you guys think i can hit with 15-18psi...if i did that with slipping clutch shifting at 5300 rpms...lol

you will do much better with a new clutch bro, dont sweat it, the only thing to worry about with a heavy clutch a few extra boosted ponies, is wheel spin. i have seen car spin sooo bad that thier times were slower. its all about getting it to hook up well thats all

yeah i gotcha...no im pretty good driver witha mini me in the car and a zex 75 shot i hit 13.7 so id say im decent..really i just want to hit low 13s or high 12;s is that possible in an ej with around 250-270 hps?

its possible but if your motor is built you might as well just run closed wastegate on the the 14b, only gonna get about 250hp out of it

with that new clutch you might want to keep an eye on the crank...sometimes those hardcore clutches like that can make the crank move when you shift hard. just a lil reminder. keep an eye on it (if you race a lot)
