Alum. actualy dissipates heat where steel and SS actually hold it longer. Alum. is certainly the best material to use for charge pipes!

i think it would only dissipate heat when there was airflow, so under the hood it might just grab up all the heat since it has good heat transfer properties....right?

I agree with just getting steal and painting them.I got mine frome Summit and paid $60somthing shipped for enough 2.25" manderals to do my setup.And I think I had a few bends left over.

But I disagree with using aluminum.Heat is extreamly atracted to aluminum.I would do steel or stainless if your a baller.Remember you can polish the stainless just as easyly as aluminum
