i got *** all cash and needa get a budget as welder . cant afford a mig, so can u still make manifold etc with a arc welder? and for aluminium intercooler pipes, would a arc do it or what

dont go arc, at least get a wire feed, doesnt have to be mig.

look into harbor freight.

 

I would say yes, but you wouldn't want too!!! And it wouldn't do aluminum.

It's not good for thin ---- (at least my stick welder isn't) and is usually a pain in the *** to use.

If you got a bunk of welding to do all at once (sa on install day) Rent on for 40 bones or so.
