Default Weld ELS

OK i am making a manifold. i need to know the price of the weld els you guys use to make log manifolds. Mcmaster is really expensive.

i got mine local, came to like 40$, 14$ each for the "T"s and 6$ each for the "L"s they are T304 stainless schedule 40



yeah i know the turbo flange is crooked, its not welded yet cuz i got to test fit it before i weld it, so i just slung ---- it on there for the pic

you can try this place where i get mine from..my steel ones came to around $30.00
Allegheny pipe and supply 412-264-7100
they are in Pennsylvania, about 10 miles from my house..just ask to speak to someone in sales

i find any decent plumbing store. or a metal supply yard wil have them, or can get them.

look in the yellow pages.

I havent seen more than a 10% price fluctuation anywhere... that is just what they cost... you cant really complain about ~$35 for the raw matieiral for a turbo manifold...

if you really can't save up the $35 for nice weld els, than I dont know how you could possibly afford the flanges (or the turbo/intercooler, etc.) but Home Depot has really ugly threaded els for cheaper...

u guys are lucky u live in the USA. because my mild steel weld els are the same price as your SS weld els..

what welds are you using MIG TIG? What wire /electrode ?
